Thank you, Erie, for your amazing energy and love for literature that made this event so special. We also deeply appreciate the volunteers whose hard work made everything possible. Finally, thanks to our generous sponsors whose support helped make this event a great success.

Dear Friend of the Arts,

The Erie Art Company is a local nonprofit focused on creative art and education projects. Working with community leaders, artists, and volunteers, we bring together arts and technology through unique programs.

We’re excited to bring back the Lake Erie Literary Festival on Saturday, September 13th, from 12–6 pm.

This year, we’ve partnered with Cafe 7-10, Werner Books, and, with support from an ECGRA grant, we’re growing our reach in the Erie community. Due to its popularity, the festival has moved to the larger LEAF venue for more space.

We’re also teaming up with anti-censorship groups to host an information and advocacy tent. Last year, festival visitors received hundreds of free books, and this year promises to be just as rewarding.

You can look forward to:

  • Readings and performances from many types of artists

  • Kids Tent

  • Hands-on workshops with skilled storytellers

  • Free Book Giveway

  • A lively market with authors, books, tasty food, crafts, and more
